Apostle Paul
Knew
Who He Was
In Christ.
Do You?
The Apostle Paul knew who he was in Christ therefore it is time for us to know who we really are in Christ. The grace of God has been watered down to nothing more than forgiveness of sin. However, in reality, the grace of God is much, much more; it is the ultimate expression of God's love. Man is a spirit being living within a body of flesh. Man functions through emotions, will and the mind of his soul.

The flesh or the Adam nature that we possess is an I specialist; it has many forms of self. The victorious believer will become aware of many forms of self which must be dealt with. In our service to Christ we shall discover just exactly how many forms of self we have.

1. self-confidence and self-esteem; in the slightest suffering.
2. self-saving and self-pity; in the least misunderstanding.
3. self-defense and self-vindication; in our station in life.
4. self-seeking and self-centeredness; in the smallest trials.
5. self-inspection and self-accusation; in the daily routine.
6. self-pleasing and self-choosing; in our relationship.
7. self-assertiveness and self-respect; in our education.
8. self-boasting and self-expression; in our desires.
9. self-indulgence and self-satisfaction; in our successes.
10. self-admiration and self-congratulations; in our public ministry.
11. self-reflection and self-glory; in life as a whole.
12. self-love and selfishness.

There is a difference between the I of the inward man [the spirit], and the I of the outward [the soul and body]. It is in our spirits that we are the offspring of God. The Word is clear that God is not soul, and God is not body; only spirit can know spirit [1st Cor 2:9-11] therefore, we cannot know God until the Holy Spirit joins Himself with our spirits.

When we are born again, it is not the body, which has been born anew, nor is it the soul. The new birth is the resurrection of a new being, raised by the Holy Spirit with a Divine life, united with God. This newness of spirit becomes possible through our union with the death, burial and resurrection of Christ. It is the incredible expression of God's grace. Amen!    Read More In-Depth
