1st John 4 Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. 5 And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. 6 Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.
7 Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. 8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. 9 Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.

Even if you put in, if you say you "practice sin, or do the big sin", you don't know God and never have and it's the EXACT same word as the one used in 1st John 1:9  (if sinning everyday isn't practicing sin, I don't know what is).

I'm convinced the only reason Pastors go along with the "accepted" interpretations of 1st John 3, is so they won't be called heretics by all the big mainstream religions....

Bottom line... Spiritual Principles (and/or "false/human" principles developed by man) work no matter what you believe about God, or your Church.  That is why God's Spiritual Principles also work WITHOUT KNOWING GOD for non-Christians, whether they profess to be a non-believer, or to be a Christian, Catholic, Protestant, or any other Church member.  So, if you want to know if what you are hearing (from me, or your Church) is the truth, then BELIEVE (IN YOUR HEART) who God says He is, and who you are in Christ, then you will know AND BELIEVE the truth that sets you free...

Let's say what I teach is the "Truth"....

THEN IS IT POSSIBLE;

Other Churches also teach the "truth", and...,

Protestants teach the "truth", and...

Catholics teach the "truth", and...

Jewish Synagogues teach the "truth", and...

Tony Robbins and motivators like him teach the "truth", and...

Even Mormons, Jehovah Witnesses and Muslims teach the "truth" !!!

How can all these groups teach "the truth", yet be diametrically opposed to what God's Word says?   Perhaps because:

1. THEY ONLY TEACH SOME ASPECTS OF THE TRUTH
2. Or, they REALLY DO teach the entire truth, and you don't believe all of it.
3. Or, most likely, they teach some aspects of the truth, and you pick and choose what YOU BELIEVE, for example....

• Sometimes you hear the truth and believe it in your heart.  
• Sometimes you hear the truth and only mentally ascent to it; however, DON'T really believe it in your heart, (even if you believe it in your head).
• Sometimes you consciously or sub-consciously decide not to believe it.
• Sometimes you're mis-understanding the truth, believing it to be truth (in you head - mentally assenting), but not really believing it in the heart, because you're heart knows it can't be the truth.  
• Sometimes you're actually hearing a "lie" and worse, then believing the lie to be the truth in your heart, over-riding or covering up the truth FROM your own spirit which is one with Christ, so you "walk according to the flesh" by believing what comes from your mind or the world or "man's teaching", instead of what comes from God's Word or Holy Spirit.

Is it any wonder "Religious people" don't know their own heart?  Rom 12:2 - "Be renewed (in your heart), by the renewing of your mind (with God's Word).  Then your mind will be telling your heart the same thing your spirit (one with Christ) is telling your heart.   If what you're hearing in Church, doesn't make sense, perhaps it's because it really doesn't make sense  (if it contradicts the Bible, can it be the Truth ??).

People stay with all these different religions because they hear "some" truth (including the one you're in), and that is why GOD'S WORD SAYS TO BE AN OVERCOMER, NO MATTER WHICH CHURCH YOU'RE IN..

Some Examples of Spiritual Principles that work, whether you know God or not:

• If you give, you will be blessed
• As you think, so will you be (Tony Robbins proves this one works without God).
• If you Forgive, you'll experience the benefits that come from forgiving others
• If you apologize (confess your sins to one another), your relationships will be better
• If you believe you're healed, you'll be healed (placebos prove this point).
• And many more.....

These principles (by themselves, without other factors) work for people, because spiritual principles work, regardless of the "religion".  Consequently, you follow the spiritual principle you're taught, and you think you're following Jesus Christ, when in fact, all you are is following one of His Spiritual Principles.  (This includes "believing the Promises" of Christ, instead of "believing who you are in Christ").

The level of your experience will INDICATE THE LEVEL OF YOUR BELIEF IN EACH SPIRITUAL PRINCIPLE, or, it could show the level that you really believe who you are in Christ, either way, your experience will show (OR PROVE TO YOU AND OTHERS) what your level of belief in your heart is, compared to what you say it is, whatever that belief is). This is why "religious" people appear to be so hypocritical, because what they say is from their head, not what they really believe in their heart.

So guess what happens... people follow some spiritual principles, and soon, it might appear one or more doesn't work, and they question their Church, or who God is, instead of believing who they are in Christ, or God's Love.  Or, as many people sub-consciously choose.... they just "change or lower the level of their belief (like maybe it's true, or maybe it's not)".

For example, you're sick and pray to be healed, and you experience healing, so you believe in prayer "works".  Next time, you're not quickly healed, what do you believe?...that prayer sometimes works, or sometimes doesn't work?... Placebos PROVE that what you believe is what produces results..

Because each group, teaches one or more spiritual principles that are spiritual truths, and, because many profess they believe in God, people confuse the belief in Spiritual Principles with the belief in different "religion's" doctrines.  Yet, it's obvious they do not "really believe" what they say they believe  ( "their" version of "truth"), because they don't live it (you live out what you really believe in your heart).  And instead of admitting there is a problem with really believing what they say they believe, they dismiss the behavior by saying it's virtually impossible to live the way Jesus says they are supposed to, or, perhaps they can just ask God to forgive them, or some other equally absurd statement.   People do what they do because they BELIEVE in their heart they can do it (and even if wrong, the believe they can get away with it).

Each individual's belief in a group's "version of TRUTH" is working for them, because they believe it in their heart (even if it's not truth).  Or, it isn't working for them, because they really don't, never did, or quit believing in their heart what they say they believe.  IT'S AS SIMPLE AS THAT.  They might have the truth right, and not believe it in their heart, or they might have a lie, and believe the lie in their heart to be the truth, but either way, their life will reflect what they believe in their heart, not their head, and maybe not even the truth, only what they believe.

Bottom line... God, thru the Bible, teaches that you will EXPERIENCE AND/OR live up to the EXACT level of your belief in all areas of life.   And, God's Word is like a mirror, and it will REFLECT YOUR EXACT LEVEL OF BELIEF OR UN-BELIEF IN YOUR HEART about God's Word.   And you life will also reflect what you really believe in your heart, no matter what you say you believe in your head.  This is important to understand, because... IF WHATEVER YOU THINK YOU BELIEVE ISN'T WORKING IN YOUR LIFE, IT'S BECAUSE YOU REALLY DON'T BELIEVE IT IN YOUR HEART !!!!  (The results, or fruit, will not reflect what you think in your head, but will be the result of what you believe in your heart.   So, instead of dismissing the truth, renew your mind of the truth (Rom 12:2 - be transformed by the renewing of your mind, and Gal 2:20 - you're one with Christ)... read, listen to, and believe who God says He is, and who you are in Christ, and eventually your heart will believe the truth, because your mind is telling it the same thing your Spirit is.

In many cases, the result you experience has nothing to do with your "intellectual' knowledge of Bible study knowledge, or Church teaching about God, but instead, the experience will reflect the level of whatever the belief is in your heart (that's obvious, as I said, because even non-spiritual lies can produce results in your life, if you believe them in your heart).  However, if you believe a lie, the lie will ONLY TEMPORARILY work for you, so when it's not working, you're going to have to search for the truth.

If you are not experiencing what you say you believe, then you will want to discover whether what you "THINK" is really is God's Truth, and/or whether you really don't believe in your heart what you say you believe in your head?   In doing so, THE ANSWER HAS TO LINE UP WITH GOD'S WORD. OR IT CAN'T BE ETERNAL TRUTH.
